Hi, I'm Caro!

I'm a full-time registered nurse and part-time baker behind Marie Bakes. What started as simply baking sourdough for my family and friends quickly became something I truly fell in love with—and getting to share something made by hand with others has made it even more special.

Everything at Marie Bakes is made to order in small batches, right out of my home kitchen. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting to be bought. Each loaf is given the time and care it deserves, from feeding my starter to mixing, fermenting, shaping, and finally baking it fresh for you.

My faith is also at the heart of Marie Bakes. I believe some of life's sweetest blessings are found in the simple things: gathering around the table, breaking bread with the people we love, and sharing what we've been given with others.
